Why
should we choose you to speak for our group?
My personal and professional
mission as well as my life's work is:
"To
empower the human spirit by helping others to overcome self-limiting mindsets
and behaviors, and
thereby find more meaning, success, and happiness in life and
career."
In
other words, I succeed by helping others (such as you!) to succeed; I help people to get past the things that hold them back. I am a
"Mind Stretcher;" I endeavor to broaden the individual perspectives
of my audience members which will ultimately help them to make positive
changes in their personal and professional lives. This means that I take my
work and your satisfaction very seriously, always knowing that my good
reputation (and yours) is on the line.
Although we all need money to
live, I do not do what I do for the money; I do it because I love what I do.
And this attitude comes through in not only my affordable professional fee, but also in my
commitment to working with you and helping you to attain your training goals.
I have the personal and professional background experience that it takes to
help people make positive life and professional changes. With well over 20
years of speaking and coaching experience with hundreds of audiences and
thousands of people across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, I am very good
at what I do. I also am very good at connecting with my audiences by creating
a safe training environment that encourages participation and growth, but at
the same time, I am not afraid to address tough issues directly and
kindly.
Another good reason to work with
me is this: I don't always accept every booking offer that comes
along. This means that I will be honest with you as to whether I'm the best
trainer for your event. After discussing your training goals, if I don't feel
that I will be a good fit for your organization or event, I will politely
decline and refer you to another speaker. Just as I teach in my workshops, we
both must win if we are to work together.
And... I'm easy to work with!
I will do my very best to make you look good for hiring me. If you look
good, then I look good. And just maybe, you'll invite me back to speak or
train again!
If you are looking for a seasoned
and experienced speaker/trainer at a beginning speaker rate, then please

What
kinds of organizations do you work with?
I
work with all types of businesses and associations. My background is in
Investments and the Office Equipment industry. I am also very familiar with
retail and the foodservice industry. My programs actually apply to all people,
regardless of industry.
Do
you offer consulting services?
Yes, please Click
Here for more information on consulting.
TOP
Do
you offer management or executive coaching?
Yes! I deeply believe that
when you add post-workshop coaching to your training, the results are far
better. I will meet with any executive, manager,
supervisor, or staff member that you feel may benefit from extra attention at
the time of my training to outline our coaching goals, as well as the
duration. I'm very effective at coaching experienced as well as "up and coming" managers
to better display "Managed Leadership" in leading their team, and
this includes dealing effectively with difficult employee behavior. I will
then follow up with one-hour Tele-Coaching sessions at predetermined intervals
after the event to help the managers stay on track.
I am also available for
stand-alone coaching that is not linked to a training event. In other words,
if you have a manager or staff member who could use some behavior or
performance coaching, you don't have to invite me to train in order to take
advantage of my help. Please Click Here for
more information on my coaching services.

Do you do Keynotes?
Much of my speaking in the
past has been in the form of one-hour keynote presentations. However, I now
focus more on full-day training workshops, coaching, and consulting. I only
accept keynote bookings after we have discussed your goals. Please call me at
941-740-2900 for more information.
TOP
How
long are your presentations?
My
programs can easily be customized to meet your needs, from a one hour breakout
presentation or keynote to a three or four day workshop. Of course, the longer
the time frame,
the more information and the more benefit.
TOP
What
dates do you have currently booked?
My schedule is full,
but somewhat flexible. Please call me at 941-740-2900
or email me to check, hold, or confirm a
date. Even if a date you want is taken, please contact me because on
occasion, certain dates are tentatively booked.
TOP
Do
you have a video I can preview?
Yes, I
have several video and audio clips you can
review at your convenience. I can also mail you my video demo CD upon request.
TOP
How
much do you charge?
I charge less than you would
expect for a comparable speaker. My daily fee is as low s $2,500 per day
within the continental U.S., $2,200 per day within a 350 mile radius of Punta
Gorda, Florida. Please call me at 941-740-2900 or email
me for a specific no-obligation quote on your training needs.
TOP
How
are expenses handled?
In most cases, everything
is included in the professional fee. There is no additional charge for airfare, mileage,
tolls, car rental, or meals, etc. However, in certain high-cost areas such as New York
City, Boston, and others, the fee may increase in
proportion to the cost. Please call me at 941-740-2900 if you live in a
high-cost area to determine if there will be any additional charges.
TOP
Do you charge for travel time to and from the meeting?
There
is no charge for my travel time.
TOP
Why are your fees lower
than other comparable speakers?
My fees are lower than
average for a couple of reasons. First, I want to make it easy on you to
offer excellent training to your staff. Secondly, I want your business. I
believe that if you experience my training once, then you'll invite me
back again in the future. Frankly, if you can hire a more effective and
experienced speaker at any price, then you should. I offer training that
is easily worth several times the fee you'll invest. The only thing that
some other speakers have that I don't is fame. If you would like effective
training without paying for the celebrity status, then please consider me.

you provide references? Yes.

can vary from a single page to approximately 30 pages in length, depending on the length of the
program and the type of event. You will receive a master copy of the guide for
duplication. There is no charge for the master.
TOP
Do
you customize
your programs? Yes! After you have booked
your training date, we will discuss my Pre-Program Questionnaire via
telephone. This will help me to tailor my program and better meet your
training goals.
TOP
Can
we video or audio tape
your presentation? Video
taping and/or audio taping is available for an additional fee of $500, provided that a master copy is sent
to me within two weeks of the presentation in the same or better
quality than the original. Both video taping and audio taping must be for
